Lexicon Relocation has won the Forum for Expatriate Management’s (FEM) EMMA Award for “Thought Leadership – Survey or Research Study of the Year.” The award honored Lexicon’s China Global Mobility 360˚ Survey Report, the most comprehensive snapshot and analysis of global mobility and its key drivers in China.
The EMMAs are international awards that recognize global mobility leaders, successes and rising stars. This award was open to those who produced a survey or research study that provides of-the-moment leading information and is relevant to the global mobility industry.
The China Mobility 360° Survey Report was the first full-scale survey of China employee relocation practices that examines the full breadth of mobility in China for both China and non-China headquartered companies. For the China-based companies, the survey was translated into Chinese and sent to companies with both domestic China relocations and full global mobility programs.
Some of the discoveries highlighted in the report include:
- Both current and projected relocation activity trends
- Differences between the global mobility programs and activities of China and non-China headquartered companies
- Detailed statistics on activity into and out of different tiers of Chinese cities
"We are thrilled that our efforts in thought leadership have been rewarded," stated Avrom Goldberg, Lexicon's senior vice president, global solutions. "The China Mobility survey was the result of nearly a year long project by a tremendous team dedicated to seeing this project to fruition.”
“Being named as the winner for this EMMA reflects a concerted effort behind the scenes to consistently deliver high impact thought leadership,” added Jon Hile, Lexicon Relocation president. “These efforts are particularly evident on our website’s blog and resource center. This award is a great compliment to Lexicon’s continued focus on being a resource that brings practical tools, advice and thought leadership to global mobility managers worldwide.”
