What challenges do global mobility managers want to overcome? We asked, you answered and together we broke through it!
At the recent Worldwide ERC® Global Workforce Symposium, we wanted to find out what attendees had to say about their biggest challenges.
With questions ready and a karate black belt on hand, the Lexicon team discovered first hand what’s on the minds of global mobility decision makers.
By engaging attendees to chose a random question to help determine what their challenge really was, they started to think about the major obstacles that are impeding a streamlined global mobility process.
The questions that each person randomly chose were:
- What is your global mobility technology frustration?
- What would you change about your global mobility program?
- What are the barriers to a successful global mobility program?
- What are the challenges of your global mobility program?
- What part of managing your program do you find most tedious?
By asking questions, participants took time to really think about what their most daunting challenge was. After all, knowing your obstacle is half the battle right? After settling on a challenge booth goers wrote that on a karate breaking board and did some serious karate chopping to break through it!
This activity spawned some great conversations, and new ideas on how companies should tackle their global mobility and relocation issues.
Alongside of the board breaking activity, we were also offering sake shots and fortune cookies, as we've just released our China Global Mobility 360 Survey which details loads of new data and trends in the country.
