Lexicon Relocation was represented well at the 2014 EuRA International Relocation Congress held annually in a different European city. This year it is being held from April 9-11th at the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa in Edinburgh, Scotland. Damon Ward, Director, EMEA and Craig Donovan, Director, Global Network Integration were in the air and rushing to participate in opportunity that has become a landmark in the relocation calendar and is the biggest event of its kind in Europe.
EuRA, the European Relocation Association, was formed in 1998 with the aim of promoting the benefits of professionally managed relocation and mobility services to companies with globally mobile employees.
The focus of EuRA International Relocation Congress this is year was DSP… Diversify, Specialise, and Personalise. The event presented an excellent opportunity for Ward and Donovan to network with destination services provider (DSP) industry professionals throughout EMEA. The conference kicked off on Wednesday with Cultural Theory & Intelligence. Thursday topics included Excellence in Service Delivery, GMS Conversion; Talent Mobility & DSPs; and Compliance & DSPs. Friday tackled innovation, commoditization, and capitalizing on unique services that Diversify, Specialise and Personalise with destination service providers. The Lexicon team was there meeting our service partners, subject matter experts, attending sessions and taking copious notes. Donovan is always on the hunt for advances in service delivery and supplier quality and training initiatives.
Damon and Donovan took time from these brainstorming sessions to jump in with both feet celebrating in the spirit of the event with true “When in Scotland” style.
