Last week, several members of our Lexicon Executive Team took the opportunity to participate and exhibit at the European Global Mobility Summit 2013: London. This trip also presented a perfect occasion for continued personal interaction with some of Lexicon’s client base in EMEA as well as our own global client services support teams from our London and Hong Kong office, who attended the conference.
A quintessential location with a view, the conference was housed at the prestigious Lancaster London, with Hyde Park, the largest of the Royal Parks, located directly south. A nice place to visit, the breathtaking scenes provided amazing photo opportunities for our travelers.
The European Global Mobility Summit is sponsored by The Forum for Expatriate Management. This educational event is held annually and affords influential global mobility professionals, service providers, consultants and industry leaders across Europe a chance to network and learn.
The Summit offered relevant industry-related seminars, a chance to hear expert speakers from across the region and discover the latest innovations, technologies and ideas from leading industry subject matter experts.
“As we continue to provide effective and economically grounded solutions to our worldwide client base, this venue afforded our teams with another great opportunity to combine our ongoing client communications with expatriate management networking and industry updates in a wonderful setting,” commented Damon Ward, Lexicon’s Director of EMEA.
The Summit had something for everyone, from compliance risk and immigration to difficult locations and a global benefits panel. Our people divided and conquered to absorb as much information as possible. Topics included Business Traveler Compliance, Global Compensation Control, Immigration and Employment Challenges, Applying Global Policies in Hardship Locations as well as others.
